Central Florida get together?

Just read the very interesting thread about experiences at the boutique at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando.
I was surprised at the number of posters who appear to be in the surrounding area.
Years ago there would be regular postings about get togethers. Haven’t seen any for awhile. Is there any interest in one in the Orlando area?

I'd make the drive if something was put together. I'm in the Tampa Bay area

Jacksonville here. Orlando is a good meetup spot for mostly everyone in FL except those in the panhandle. I'd be interested.

I'm not in the area but years ago I was able to join a gathering in Brooklyn when I was there for a conference. Nowadays, a watch gathering can be unsafe especially when it's broadcast in a public forum so I can understand the reservation. I hope there is a better way for people to meet and gather without worrying about a robber coming in the meetup.

Meeting at a public house is usually good. A few beers and some bar food always go well with watches and watch talk. It would be the rare robber that will consider a popular local bar or eatery as an easy target.

There is a quarterly meet up put on by a guy named Arron the group is called “Orlando Watch Group” I just went to the one they had at Porsche last Thursday. David SW was there with some displays. About 100-150ppl total it was really great crowd.

Next one I think is Feb 2nd.
