I like it, very nice Seamaster with this special steel bracelet!
However, still in size 42 mm.
Price 7.100 €

- Aluminum bezel
- Aluminum dial
- no date
- domed sapphire crystal
- 8806 Omega Master

It is presented on the official Omega website.

I saw this. No issues with it but also not much to it in reference to moving me to buy one.

Curious to see the black aluminium dial in person, I like it.
Could have been 40 or 41 but no one it’s perfect nowadays :)

The black looks really good without a date window. I would prefer this model at 41mm, but I can live with 42.

If they offered one with sword hands, I'd be all over it.

I swear they’re holding on to sword hands in case of emergency. It’s such a good option.

Let's hope so. I swear I gave it a good try with my SMP 300M but I just couldn't do the skeleton hands. I know I sound like a broken record, but damn I loved everything else about it, even the He wart. But those hands

Back to aluminum bezel and dial? Why? I don't get this at all. I do like the no date however.

Very mid imho

I won’t fall for these until 40-40.5. The 42 is too large for me no matter how many times ive owned prior variants

Just feels lazy design (or lack of). Why can't they make it smaller, thinner and a new bracelet.

Requires a lot of redesign and retooling. I also wanted this to be 41mm and thinner but I can see why Omega didn't do it.

I don't think it's an extraordinary amount of work. They fit this movement in smaller watches.

This watch is still too big, should be 40-41mm and put on a diet to 11-12mm thick.

I agree with the above - it’s a bit lazy. Nothing to get excited about really, but equally not offensive.

I guess it's supposed to be a homage to the 90s version of this watch. I'm with you thought. Ceramic bezel is the way to go.

LOL, I've been through many versions as well. Just picked up the America's Cup recently and it is big, just like all the others but I love it. I think this one might stay.

I’m not sure about this. Are they really saying that a non date, aluminium bezel on rubber should be more than the date version with ceramic?

Hmm. Either the original “classic” is too dear or too cheap depending on your perspective.

Nice looking watches but there are far too many variants of this watch imo.

Told my rep at the boutique in Istanbul that I was sad these were still 42 and chunky...he said this is only the first drop, something smaller and thinner is coming very soon. Take that with a grain of salt but he has been very reliable in his info (as far as what he can hint at without getting into trouble).

I do like the black version, I would like a blue version though. Can’t wait to see it in person.

Don’t understand why they are more money than the date model. No date sub is only $2500 more. I own both of these and wouldn’t consider this new model at this price point.

From ceramic bezel to aluminium
From ceramic laser etched dial to aluminium dial
From date version to no date version
Same thickness, same case size
Downgraded bracelet with no micro-adjustment on the fly
Somehow charge you more for giving you less?

More laziness from a publicly traded company looking to milk their customers from everything they can get away with.

There are some restaurants worldwide who serve nothing, you pretend to eat and pay for it, not cheap actually
Facts

Here you get a watch who pays a tribute to original but in a contemporary case & movement

Im not the devils avocate but nobody force anyone to buy, you like you buy, you dont like you dont buy

If Omega did wrong then they will pay the price long term but my guess is this reference will run good numbers and image between the wis

So no new watch, just tinkering with the colours and materials? I supposed that will be very well received on a forum that expects nothing more.
