I got one comment on my boots today (in person). Woman that knows me from one of the departments I was dealing with, I walk in to her office (she looks under her desk at my boots then shoots me back a “what the hell are those?” look. I told her they’re vintage pre ban ant eater boots. (She was not impressed). Then she told me they’re gaudy and I look like a certain ethnic group to the south of the US.

So, that being said. Thanks to all of you that appreciate and like my boots!! They’re my favorite non working boots.

Tut tut to the woman. If one hasn’t got anything pleasant to say, one shouldn’t say anything at all. That’s what I think at least.

I also love boots - and have a few pairs - admittedly what we call Chelsea boots here in the UK, but I do appreciate the beauty of all types!
