Favorite Calatrava Ref?

Hi everyone! I want to get a calatrava, but there are so many variations; just curious which ones people like!

I'm partial to a 2457 because I like center seconds and smaller cases-- and price tags! Would love to see some pics of what you have!
Thanks

For me it's the 5196 - G and R.

5196p just love that dial, the weight of the platinum and the numerals.

The busy 5212 has little in common with a Calatrava and is marketed by Patek under Complications instead of Calatrava for a reason. Personally I am also not thinking of the sporty and almost tool watch-ish 5226 as a Calatrava but I am aware Patek thinks of it as such.

I have a 5119 and it works well as a dress-only model. Less is more - manual wind for a model that's worn for a day then put away is simpler than a 5120 micro-rotor.

Slender leaf hands are more elegant than the sticks on other PP's.

The only drawback is the smaller movement which doesn't fill the case but I can overlook that since the watch is so beautiful

I’m partial to the 6119R (since I did pick it). I was deciding between this and the 5227R, and the hobnail bezel, new movement that fills the caseback, and the small seconds did it for me.

Personally I also only like to buy new from the AD and have never bought grey before, so I didn’t consider pre owned pieces.

6.75-7” wrist

I really like the ref 5053 officer model and the 3998. Also, the 3919 and 3802/200. Those are some classic pieces.

ref. 5127

Perfect combination of classic and modern, including an excellent but not too large size.

I am looking to add a 5296G non-sector dial.

In the current collection, my favorite is the 5227g with a black lacquer dial.
A few years back I would’ve said the 5196g or 5196p.
If I could go back a few decades, I would’ve wanted a 2526

Looks excellent. What’s your wrist size? Would love to purchase this reference, but I’m concerned it’s too large for my 6.75” wrist.

5107/1G I think that's the reference, white gold bracelet.

As said earlier, 2585 is probably my favorite but I also looked into 3466 and 3483 as affordable alternatives to 3417. Among more recent refs I like 3998P and the cool 5107P black.

I have 6.95 and it’s very good and a beat small. I think you will be ok. You should try it.
