Anyone content with their 3 watches?

Hello all. I'm pretty much content with just having three, but I'm also tempted to add another one!

The hobby continues on...

You have a great trio there OP! Beautiful pieces. If you actually do refrain from buying a 4th, then you definitely have much more willpower than me!

I'm sure you will be able to sell 4. However, the big question here would be, are you able to hold strong and not replace them with another 4!??

You're going through the phases. I had three or four watches. It blew up to eleven getting into other brands. I have since sold off several pieces and really consolidated around classic Rolex and Omega pieces. Even now, I am looking at trimming down further. I really only ever wear like five pieces regularly.

I am very happy with my main 3 watches (DJ41, OP41, Tudor BB monochrome). A few inexpensive ones around, but I've sworn off those kinds of purchases in the future.

Today, if offered a requested SkyD or GMTII, I'd probably pass. The longer I wait for those, the less I desire them.

I'd take that watch money and take a few vacations.

This three are all you need! I’m trying to cut back as well. Would like to be sub 10 Rolex near term. eventually (years from now) tapering down to like sub 5 total lux watches would be ideal.

Over the years I’ve been up to 8 pieces and down to 3 (briefly). I’ve always felt happiest with 4….it just seems to be the perfect number for me.

Love them all, and hoping to add GRNR, by Christmas. For some reason, the Explorer rated a Rolex branded bag.

Agree with this sentiment, but have lots of less expensive watches to sell, to get down to just 4 Rolexes and 4 vintage Seikos, all destined to go to my 4 children.

Love the 321....

What about that smokin' Panerai 690 blue dial? That still in the collection? First time I saw your wrist shot wearing it think I blacked out for a second

I always thought three was perfect, but I'm hoping to settle in with 4.

Currently:
-Rose gold olive DD40
-White gold OF Daytona black dial
-Stainless black dial Skydweller on oyster

My end goal:
-Rose gold olive DD40
-Platinum Daytona
-Stainless green dial Skydweller either bracelet
-White gold meteorite GMT II or Stainless Pepsi either bracelet

You know I might just be. I’ve struggled for a while to think what next, as one of these three will cover any occasion. I still really, really like all of them too.

I’m not a fan of full PM’s, Oysterflex, or coloured bezels, & ideally a case size of over 40mm is better for me so those preferences rule a lot of models out.

I might trade out of my YM40 if I can get a SS blue dial Sky Dweller from my AD, but that’s a big if & should it happen I’d still only have three!

I have a Rolex trio but have a few other brands as well. There’s nothing wrong with slowly adding as long as you enjoy them.

Thank you!! I thought I was alone on this. The 4th one will just be a... bonus?! Haha. I will definitely settle with 3-4. It's easier to wear it in rotation.
