question on the 3130 caliber
Does it have some sort of "shock absorber/protection " device ??

I'm guessing it'll have KIF shock absorbers like most of the rest of the current line up

The big improvement that occured from the cal 3000 to the cal 3130 (introduced in 1999) was the balance bridge. This increased the resistance to shock damage.
