50th Anniversary Submariner question

Hello all,

I was recently inquiring about purchasing or maybe trading for a 50th anniversary Green Bezel Submariner date. I located a few and most seemed to be M series, however I did have someone contact me with an F series. Is it possible to have a "F" series 50th anninversary LV sub?? Please help, I dont wanna make a mistake.

Thanks again.

MAtt

yes its possible my lv sub is an f series model.. which is the late 2003 beginning 2004.. i bought mine in march 2004..if u are going for an F series u should get a better deal than the M series..because the M series is newer than the F series..and V series is the latest production

Absolutely! Just be sure you trust the seller first. The LV is one beautiful watch!

Hi Matt I have an LV m series and was considering letting it go for 5250 Cad if that helps you any. So an F series you should score for less. Cheers.

Mine has the Rolex rolex rolex engraving around the bezal. I suspect an F series does NOT.

You are correct. That is a nice touch in my opinion. I am actually working on a trade for a PAM 88 for the LV so I will see what happens. Your not interested in trade are you??

Padi Edit
Guys please keep any sales trades etc in the proper forum or via PM thank you.

Sorry Padi. MY fault I brought this one up. As for trade no not in my books. I am one interested in telling time with my Air-King so the sub LV was kind of not really needed. If you are interested in my watch then PM me. Cheers.

I'll just add, mine is authentic M series, albeit every low serial and mine does not have the rehaut. Pretty happy with it, the green gets good comments.

True. I was told in 2008 June when I got mine by Rolex Toronto that if you wanted the rehalt you had to ask as not all M series had this feature.

Definitely one on my list, for the enlarged indices (aka MAXI dial) is a beauty!

Green Bezel, 50th Anni, MAXI.....the perfect bliss!

During M series production so some have it and some do not for the M series.

The "Y" prefix serial numbers would be the first production run for the anniversary Submariners, which indicates 2002. "Y" serial numbers were followed by the "F" serial numbers.
