Free Rolex for snowy day?

http://www.springersjewelers.com/

Fun little promotion my local AD does. If it snows 6" on Christmas Day, then your previously purchased Rolex is free!

Check it out!

It's always a toss-up, sometimes we have a wonderful White Christmas, other times, not a flake!

It's more of a fun/clever promotion.

Interesting, it seems a little risky for the store. I would guess 6" of snow on Christmas Day in Portsmouth NH is not unprecedented?

I assume the store has some kind of insurance for the promotion in case the snow falls . . .

At least there is a CHANCE of this happening. When I first read this I was figuring it was an AD located in Palm Springs or something.

You can actually return the Rolex if it doesn't snow...untouched of course.

Our AD here in San Diego offers the same promotion... if it snows 6" here on Christmas day they give out free Rolexes.... Funny thing.. they've never had to pay off...

Its crazy, but it almost never snows that early and not 6". Odds are pretty slim.

Local furniture place aorund here offers free furniture if the Redsox sweep the World Series, i.e. they win the championship without losing a game. They did it in 2004 and also in 2007. Of course you have to buy the furniture before the season starts....
