Fake sub LV

fake sub LV........

seller landofoz1010 ( 776)

High bidder of this auction will receive the watch shown in the pictures, a Rolex Submariner Anniversary Edition. Green time lapse bezel, black dial with date and oyster fliplock bracelet. I received this watch in 2007 as a gift after being promoted at my company, worn less than 10 times and is in "new" condition. Comes with both boxes and certificate.

There is no reserve on this auction so bid early and often!

All items I sell come with a no questions asked 7 day money back guarantee, if your not happy with item return it within 7 days in it's received condition and I will refund your money, less shipping, no questions asked.

Is there any tell-tale signs of a fake in the picture?

yes, the hands are too skinny for an lv, dial is wrong, ie the swiss made at six o'clock posn is wrong/ mis positioned and the font is wrong ie the "M" in submariner, the center descender goes all the way to the bottom whereas in a Rolex it only goes halfway down. IMHO

Thanks, Michael! I'm trying to learn more about spotting fakes!

What's a "center descender"?

I am still learning also.

The middle bit of the letter "M", in the font I just typed it goes like on a Rolex, ie halfway down, on most fakes it goes all the way down to the bottom. hope I explained that OK?

Thanks for the explanation... I think this forum is incredible and you guys are so good at this stuff. We need more folks working this stuff and if we knew more about spotting these counterfeit watches it would help lighten the burden so few are now bearing.

Keep those explanations coming everyone, there are people out her looking for an education.

Prodded.
