Then I saw a relatively young guy, in his late 30s with his wife, hovering around a chair ..... he moved, and on the chair sat a little 2 or 3 yr old girl, sucking her thumb and holding a little toy ....she was in her nightsuit and under her eyes, I saw eyebags that looked like they came from a lot of crying.

Me and my dad sat down and a nurse came to the parents and the little girl and said to her "are you ready honey? come, lets walk together" and took her into the Cardiac Ward ...not a place where a child should be ....

You know .... it made me think ... here I am ... a 40yr old fart head ...who has been dealt great cards by life ... and here is this little girl ...I wonder what she is going through ....and tons of other kids like her ....my biggest worry is "should I get a 14060M or a GMT II?" ...... her worries are greatre than mine .... I as a person, can't hold a candle to what she and her family is going through.....

So the moral of the story is to be happy ... life is like a lemon .... squeeze every ounce of juice out of it ... live well, laugh, smile and be thankful for your blessings ....

It is as though some higer power laughed at me and said "This could have been you ... today it is this little girl ....but I could have put you or your children in her place so be thankful i didn't do so...." ....you know, life showed me a cruel side .....And I pray the new year brings that little girl and her family the best life has to offer ....and health and happiness to all the little suffering children of this world ....
It says alot about you, that you could appreciate what you saw and derive such a profound meaning from it. Great post.
