Oysterquartz
Sitting and looking at the interplay of steel and 18kWG bezel set against a silver dial. The ref 17014 is a great looking. I bought it pre-owned as it is an "E" model number, set around 1990. I also have a ref 17000 which is basically pristine. I bought it new from a Rolex dealer in San Juan P.R. The had not even been advised by their Rolex rep, the model had been discontinued. This was in 2005 I want to send my 17014 to Dallas to be polished as only Rolex can do at a service facility. I might mention that it still has a green hologram. My Rolex trained watchmaker advised it had been re-afixed. I don't see it but Mike does. It gets more wrist action than my new ref Sub 14060M COSC.
