John, in answer to your question, I can honestly say that I have never seen that combination before. i believe that JJ's reply echoes my sentiments exactly. Good thing you were just kidding!

Thanks for the feedback guys and gals... I suppose this post was just for the TRF "archives", when some newbie posts a request for pics a "Gold on Nato" we at least can point him/her to a post with pics.

Only surprise I have is that there were some lovers of it... a bit like one of those "worst movie ever made".. they're so bad that they're good, if you know what I mean.

No, cancel that comment, it's just WRONG WRONG WRONG. What was I thinking...

You'll be happy to learn that the Nato came off and the Jubilee went back on about 30 seconds after the pic was taken. I may be silly, but I'm not STUPID.

IMHO, gold watches w/ diamond markers on a woven nylon strap, and a striped one to boot, doesn't look too good................if you have to have it on a woven nylon strap...a solid black Zulu type strapwould be the lesser of all evils.
If I may suggest.....a black croc, alligator, Teju lizard or Java lizard strap would look most excellent...just my 2 cents.
