Day Date II with leather strap
Hey everyone
I was walking downtown chicago, when I noticed in a store that they were selling the Day Date II on a leather strap, it was an AD which was selling it. I got curious and began researching it online and wasn't able to find any pics or info. Does anyone know something about this ? cheers |

I have not seen a DDII on a leather. Anyone that does put it on a leather, deserves to be kicked in their taco

I don't think the DDII is available with a strap from Rolex. Could it have been a gold DJ on a strap you saw? Or maybe someone fitted a Daytona strap to a DDII? I'm not sure if they have the same lug width. Or, it could have just been an aftermarket strap.

Perhaps it was a gold DJ but It defnitly was a 41mm. I can't recall if it had the day on it.
It wasn't after market as it had the endlinks between the lugs as the WG daytonas have. I remeber it being white gold the strap was black aligator increadibly cool looking watch |

I'll bet that did look cool. Strap seems to make the watch wear a little smaller. Least it seems that way to me.

Could it be a 116139 Datejust on 18K white gold or 116138 in 18k Yellow Gold ??? both are kinda newer styles and they sit on a Leather band???
Just thinking loud

it looked exactly like a WG DJ on a leather strap
but the reason why i knew that it was 41mm is because it was sitting right next to other DDII and DJII (it was in the window) |
