Mine does, we combined our Rolex empire (just kidding) when we married... and have grown it from there.
I have said it on here a few times, my wife loves Rolexes as much or more than me. What she finds insane is the time I spend on here or taking pictures of the watches. Last night I started to tell her about one of the threads on here and she gave me the biggest eye roll I have ever received from her! When she sees me walking through the house with my boxes of Rolex goodies and a camera, she laughs out loud. I think she would feel less sorry for me if something else was in the box... we'll leave it at that. lol -Pete

HA! My wife knows EXACTLY what is in my watch box.
Sunday I surprised her with a new Sud-Date which she had her heart set on and the first thing she wanted to know was did I sell one of my other watches to pay for it - because she would not accept it if I had given one of mine up to pay for it. When we got home she insisted on taking inventory just to make sure...

Yep. I don't hide anything. She doesn't care. It's my money. I spoil her enough anyway.

I just get the "Is that ANOTHER watch? How much was that one?" from the girlfriend. I drop a zero off the end of the price and tell her......it kinda works.

My wife is a nurse and not really bothered about watches, but she knows what a Rolex looks like. She often comments to the Surgeons and Doctors about their Rolex watches and they are supprised about how she can spot them. As i say, she is not a watch person, but she did say she would wear a Rolex if i want to buy her one.....oh dear !...and she will not be fobbed off with an Omega or anything less either....... !

We've been married 43 years and we discuss every major purchase. We spent years watching every dollar and now that the kids are gone we can afford a few luxuries.

My wife doesn't know what I buy and when I buy, but she does notice the "new" additions when I start wearing them. Usually she is satisfied and doesn't bother me if I just tell her that I got a great deal and would be able to sell the watch tomorrow and get my money back. It's that easy...

I always ask my wife what she thinks and how it looks before I buy one. No secrets.

My wife only knows that I wear a Rolex every day. She did not even notice when I started wearing my new LV Sub last year.
She thought it was my vintage 5513 Sub that I wore for 30 years!

Well, teh wife bought me the Sub for our first anniversary in September, and she was home when my GMT arrived a couple of years ago (I tried to conceal it, but failed miserably ). And the one I have on the way is for her birthday.
Seriously, though, she wouldn't mind any more as long I'm not irresponsible with the purchases, which I'm not. I don't think she gets it, but she's cool with it. |

I can't afford a wife and a decent Rolex collection as well - you'll be happy to know I chose Rolex's :)
