To the OP: This is a great question.
I am not rich enough to own all of the Rolex watches that I would like to own, so I have decided to buy calibres instead of references. In other words, if I have a 14060m, then I won't buy the Expy I, even though I love that watch. If I have a 16710, then I won't buy the Expy II, even though I also love that watch. Sorry, but that's the best I can do so far. |

I don't really try. Most of my watches are chronographs because that is what I use in my work.
