So he was going to buy your watch and wanted to meet at a bank and when he was looking at it he switched watches with a fake then declined the sale. It must have been a very good fake for you not to be able to tell. I assume no tags or protective wrapping on your watch.
Time to get those one way plastic locks and tag your watches. |

No, I have nothing to do with it... I know the guy that was scammed...I have sold him a watch about 3 years ago and he called me to sell me his daytona but my offer was little low for him so he wanted to sell it himself...
He is a Nice older man...i feel bad for him

This doesn't surprise me at all , I know of a AD in Antwerp , Belgium that had this done to them . A couple if years ago , van Cleef & Arpels in Paris was taken by the "switch" with a 8 ct diamond ring. That was a very well prepared operation , but anyway.
