Worth of used Z Serial GMTII?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the value of a used 2006 Z serial GMTII is? (Black Bezel).

I bought mine about 2.5 years ago, and always lusted after the GMTIIc, which I picked up last summer. I now want to sell my original GMTII but see varrying prices all over. I took it to my AD over the weekend for servicing, but they called me yesterday and told me the movement is perfect still, watch is clean, and everything is in good order. They also said that 2.5 years is too soon. They're going to clean and polish the watch for me and return it to me in a few days, at which time I want to list it in the for sale section.

I have the original box, original papers, and an authentic, Rolex Pepsi insert (purchased from TempoKing on this forum).

Also, I inquired about the movement inside the watch (as I had heard that some late Z serials got the new 3186 movement) and the watch is in fact the 3185, but incredibly reliable. I noticed about a second lost a day, at best.

Looking for serious opinions about what to price the watch at. I'm just looking to be fair. Not to rip anyone off, not to rip myself off.

Thanks!

Well, following a polishing, and based on the AD's Rolex certified watchmaker, the watch is in perfect shape. It'll come back looking brand new, and practically is. You think I could charge as high as $5000 for it? Seems steep. I've noticed people selling them for around $3350 (which I have to admit is a disappointment. I paid about 5K American for it).
