LV AR Coating???
i was hoping someone could answer this question for me.
does a V serial 16610LV sub have AR coating under the cyclops? i want to remove the cyclops but i dont know if it will leave a shadow from the coating under? |

I don't think this model does have any AR coatings....however if it does then yes you will be able to see it if you remove the cyclops....there are pictures floating around of a GMTIIc with the cyclops removed and you can certainly see the AR coting below the cyclops on the underside of crystal on those

yeah i saw the pictures of the gmt and the AR.. im just unsure if i should remove it or not? i cant tell if there is any coating on it.. i hope someone can tell me for sure.

Why don't you just have a non cyclops crystal installed and keep the original just in case you want to sell the watch?

The current 16610LV does NOT have any AR coating whatsoever, regardless of the serial number.
