Which is the ideal 2 sport Rolex combo?

Even though the Sub Date is one of the given factors in this equation, for me at least, which do you think is the ideal 2 sport Rolex combo?

Sub Date and YM SS/Pt!

If that is not an option, second choice would be Explorer II. Also, I'd prefer LV over Sub Date.

A diver and the GMT has always been my favorite combo. I tend to prefer the GMT over the EXP II for it's versatility with the rotating bezel though that's strictly a personal choice.

The diver could well be the DS as the 60 minute insert is something unique to modern Rolex divers though again it's personal preference. The thickness of the watch might be a detractor to some--answer Sub.

If all of the bases are covered Mike, why do I still want another one (insert subliminal 1675 reference here)?

I guess I should have added an additional choice: Sub Date + vintage.

My "combo" is 99% done... almost!

I own a 16610LV V series, very sporty watch!...

My second choice for this "combo" would definitely be the Explorer I...

Not sure between the 36mm or the 39mm though?

Does anyone knows if the new 39mm will replace for good the 36mm, or will it

be offered in the two sizes?

My ideal would be an LV + Pepsi combo, but since it wasn't an option, I voted for a Sub and white Explorer II.

A very subjective question with lots of combinations and choices forces me to vote for "All" the rolex sport line!!

sub date and GMT II but no ceramic in either should be a choice for those not fond of the c bezel.

I don't own a two Rolex combo, but I bought an Eplorer II with the plan of adding a Sub Date. This will get me both a white and black face, both two time-zone and dive-watch functions, and a stereotypical and "under the radar" rolex. There is some chance I might go with a Deep Sea or older Sea Dweller, but it will probably be a standard Sub Date. A ceramic all-green Hulk or a Datejust II with green romans might be a later purchase, but now I'm getting ahead of myself.
