My SMP is in a regular rotation with my two Rolex's. I love all the watches, but I like rotating them around and keeping things interesting. The SMP, though, is fresh off a service, and both looks and runs great.
Father John, congrats on the GMTIIc. It's a great watch and I really enjoy wearing mine (SS). |

I've got 2 rolexes (an air king which was my first "real" watch, and an explorer II) and 2 omegas (a blue seamaster professional chronograph and a black planet ocean).
I have them all layed out on a nice china plate in our living room. When I wake up I think "hmm - which one today" and pretty much go with what I feel like. I'm wearing my planet ocean today, but tomorrow might go to the blue seamaster. They all get used at least once a week, and I enjoy them every day. Good health all |

Breitling Avenger Seawolf Breitling SuperOcean Heritage Chrono and Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi I have some beater watches, but why wear them if I have such nice hardware? Unless you are working on mechanical systems, or operate jackhammers daily, nothing is going to happen to the watch unless you are completely witless. Scratches on the clasp? Big, fat, hairy deal; Servicing will buff those out. As far as the Rolex Sub is concerned: I wore one of those every day while I was in the Marines. I was a Loadmaster on KC-130s, and yes, I loaded cargo wearing the Sub. Wore it every day. That watch is near indestructible. m ps: Yes, I'll eventually get an SMP. Just thought I'd encourage folks to wear what they have. |

When I bought my first Omega (a Seamaster 300M quartz) about 10 years ago people said to me you should keep it as your best watch and only wear it on special occasions. My reply to this was simple - "why?". My line of thought is that if you spend that amount of money on a watch you should wear it often and get your 'monies worth' out of it - not to mention the enjoyment of wearing it. Yes they will get some minor scratches etc. but its meant to me worn and appreciated :)
Until recently I was wearing my Seamaster PO 42mm almost every day although since buying my Rolex Submariner the latter has taken over somewhat. That said I plan to wear both more or less equally. M |

I wear my 42mm PO three times per weekday. Other 2 days my Rolex GMT IIc ... it depends on weekends. I just find the Omega PO less blingy than my Rolex and more comfy...

I rotate through my Orange Seamaster PO, Breitling SA, Coke bezel GMT II, Raymond Weil Nabucco, and my new Milgauss during the week. I just got the Milgauss last week. I had to demote my Black Seamaster PO to the weekend rotation. It has a black rubber strap that is a bit too casual for weekday wear. It will now have to contend for wrist space with a few other weekend watches. One day I will post pictures...

Yes, when I wear my watch all day, the only time I take it off is to shower. For some reason, IMO, wearing a watch while you shower does not make sense because
1. The soap will build up around the watch, and 2. You'd have to take the watch off anyway if you wanted to clean around that area. So, those are the main reason that, WHEN I DO wear my watches everyday, I NEVER shower with it on. |
