Clay, that is picture perfect example.
Congrats on owning such a fine vintage piece.

You seem to have one of the nicest Great Whites around, Clay.

And a DRSD, any DRSD, is always a welcome sight, Subfiend!

Mark IV DRSD

Clay your Great White is beautiful. Here is my Mark IV. Gives me a warm feeling whenever I see that patina. Always happy to post a pic or two or three.

This is my not so vintage SD

Replacement case, Service dial, hands and date wheel, service plexi, new crown, new(er) 93150 bracelet, service insert.....only part not replaced, but serviced...is the movement. Not that vintage at all...but very functional. The lume glows like kryptonite .....Superman.....watch out!!

Jeff, I love that last picture of your Sea Dweller. It looks cool.

Racer X, when I saw that patina on the hands and dial, I knew I had to have it.

This SN is supposed to have matte. Hopefully someday I'll find one to buy and put in it...

For now, a 16660 with gloss/patina from 1983/4.

I think I'll put my 1680 in the oven for a while to see if I can recreate that color. Kidding!

Here are my 16660s. I'm looking to add a DRSD to the collection if one at decent price hits the market.......

Its awesome seeing those DRSD's and vintage white's being worn and showing battle scars instead of sitting in a box.

When its designed to actually be *used* at insane depths and be chewed on by sharks / barnacles / drunken divers, a doorframe isn't exactly the greatest threat I'd imagine.

Yep, so do I. Since I sold my gmt cII, it is my daily wearer.
And yes, I bang it on the door frame 3-4 times a week, with a big white paint
streak across the crystal.
