Ladies watch
My apologies if this gets posted twice, I tried earlier today, but it said "moderator approval blah blah", still no joy, so I am trying again.
I got this watch the old fashioned way: I inherited this from my Great Aunt. I have no idea how old it is, but she was born in the 1890s, and I believe I remember my father telling me the watch is at least from the 1940s. It is a ladies watch, about 1 cm in diameter, with two diamonds on the band attachment section. The only marking I can see, other than "Rolex" on the face, is "14K" with a swoosh on the back. Wind-up, obviously. Trying to get a decent photo....but other than the diamonds on the band on mine, it looks exactly like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_4558wt_1006 It doesn't run right now. I'm trying to figure out if and how I should get it repaired. My mother had a diamond bracelet put on it. Not my speed, so my plan is to restore the original leather band, and turn the diamond/gold band into some new flooring for my house. |

Is anyone here able to identify the model of this watch? Reading the forums, I gather there is more interest in men's watches....
