Purchasing POLAR EXPY II (3186) today...goodbye GMT IIc?

Ok, so I minutes away from purchasing a polar Expy II, m-serial, from DavidSW.... I am going to keep my GMT IIc for now... but as many know, it does not sing to me at all. I may even sell it, as I believed the Expy II will dominate the wrist time... watch should arrive tomorrow.... there will be tons of pics!....

enjoy your friday!

congrats!! great choice....mine is an m-serial, too.

see how you feel when they are both in your possession, since they are pretty different looking watches, but, to me, the polor is such a nicer watch, i think you could dump the gmtii-c and go shopping for that next one....

If the GMT IIc doesn't sing, it doesn't sing.
Congrats on the EXPII and finding what you really want.

I got my V series from David as well.

I know what you mean about a watch singing to you. I wanted the Sub for years because of how it looked in the photos but when it came down to buy I never could pull the trigger for some odd reason. The second I put the Explorer II on, I knew it was the one.

The good news is that you know where to sell the GMT II easily.

I'd love an Explorer II, but waiting on the triplock crown and improved bracelet/clasp - likely out after Basel 2011?
