New member new watch

Hi guys

I just wanted to introduce myself. My father gave me a SS submariner for my glraduation present..........

Unfortunately i lost it or someone stole it from me..... That was very very bad, as it was the first nice watch i had. Timed passed, i did a masters in Australia (im Mexican) and i have been working for the last 3 years in the same company, with 3 promotions.

Last week i pulled the trigger on a second hand 2008 S.S. Submariner.

I bought it from a reputable watch dealer here in Melbourne.

I sent the watch to RSC just to verify everything is ok (peace of mind) i am still waiting to pick up the watch, im going tomorrow for it.

One funny thing, the watch was bought by Ana Ivanovic (name on warramty card) on June 2008.

Here is the link of the pictures for my watch pleasetell me what do you think

http://www.watchtrader.com.au/store/...s-papers-2008/

Best regards and thanks in advance

Welcome to TRF!!!

To bad on the lost watch......
As for the newly purchased one, looks OK in the pics!!! Not sure on the reputation of the site you got it though...Maybe someone in AUS can help on that!
Also, I'm sure there is more than one Ana Ivanovic...Could be the tennis player, but a bit of a long shot IMO....

Congrats on the new watch and enjoy the boards,
Rob.

Hi

I did my homework on the guy that sold me the watch, they are an established bussiness, on collins street (central bussiness district)

Ana bought this watch 1 day after she signed with rolex May 31 2008. The watch was bought on June 2008 in Rolex London, for his fitness coach.

Well at least thats what they told me. The watch has a 6 month warranty.

Thanks everyone
