A quick collection update

I haven't done one of these for ages (perhaps not at all) on TRF, so hopefully you'll all indulge me a little. There have been quite a few changes of late, not least the sale of my beloved Striking 10th, but I'm going to try not to think about that and instead enjoy the small but rather nice collection that I have.

I've tried to ensure that all the bases are covered, although the Magrette is really my "fun" watch and next month it could easily be something else. The other thing worthy of mention is the GMTII; not only did I very happily revert to the classic style from the IIC, but I was lucky enough to pick up a newly serviced example that also has one of the sought after "error dials". (Note the rectangular "II" and the slightly left of centre hyphen.)

The Speedy is a recent acquisition but I absolutely love it, and the Zenith is the perfect modern take on the classic dress watch. All in all, then, I'm kind of pleased with them. I do miss the 10th, though!

I'm a man from Hertfordshire living in New Zealand looking at a watch collection owned by a man in Hertfordshire and one of those watches has a New Zealand flavour "Moana Pacific". Odd.

Tony, me born in Hammersmith grew up in Ware - you?

Love the collection, really like the Zenith and of course the Rolex.

That's nuts

Born in Tottenham, grew up in Golders Green, living in Estree. I have to say, though, that New Zealand looks to me like a fine choice! Oh, and Magrette is NZ's only watch manufacturer!

Gotta say, I like the NZ watch though.
