I have been wearing my V serial Ep2 for 4 weeks, I set the time by my atomic clock and have worn it almost 24/7.. AND it has gained..... 2 seconds..in 4 weeks!!!! unbelievable!!

If I didnt know better I would be checking for a battery

My v subc was bang on for months then when I had it engraved by rolex they regulated it to "factory setting of two minutes fast per month". Problem is it is actually three minutes slow per month now so it's going back for regulation again soon. The amazing thing IMO is how consistent it is. Day in and day out it doesn't seem to vary at all!

Thats amazing, mine is running 4 seconds fast after a month, and i am happy with it

Wow, amazing indeed :) My AK is +5 sec per 24 hours. Not a COSC certified movement, but still within COSC specs. However, I still wonder if it's an indication of anything (needs service, etc..)

In all honesty, does that level of accuracy really matter that much? I'm glad mine keeps close to exact time, but even my old $100 watches before my rolex would only ever be off by a minute or two every few months. And since we all have to change the time twice a year for day light's savings (in the USA), my watches were never really that far off. And I can't say that it has ever been necessary that I know the time down the exact second.

My 30 year old Date is about -2 sec/day, however my DJ was -15 sec/day due to a broken mainspring. It will be regulated during its time in the shop.

Some of us are just that way, especially with a new watch.

My SubC has been -1 second/week in the last 3 weeks. I am not complaining. Stunning really from an auto movement in my opinion. I'd be pretty happy with 1 second fast or slow a day but a week pretty much means I only will be resetting the time if it is ever off my wrist for a few days (unlikely) or when the time changes twice a year.
