New Wheels for the Wifey today....

Went off to find her an X5 SUV and came home with this:
550i / TT V8 / 6speed manual (the 6 spd was my influence)
So comfortable
We got rid of her C63 AMG which rode like a lumber wagon.

thx b-m and Eastbay!

We just walked in and saw this in the back-lot..... and it turns out to be the exact car colors/options we would have special ordered. Sometimes you get lucky.

I might just be turned into a bmw-man.

Now you have to name her or and least give her a nick-name. My Wife calls her BMW "Baby B" Congratz!

A girl that can drive a 6 speed. That's hott.

I'd like to teach my wife but she really doesn't care to learn. She won't even drive my BMW with a dual clutch tranny.

My wife can't drive my Audi A-4 5 speed for some reason. She can drive my vintage Bug, but not the Audi. Beautiful BMW, that 6 speed must get great gas mileage on the freeway.

Just Released:
STAGE 1 PERFORMANCE ENGINE SOFTWARE/BOOST UPGRADE (550I ONLY)
The legendary 5 Series has been reincarnated with the F10 chassis and the N63 4.4L V8 turbo motor. The beauty of the turbo motor is its ability to be tuned to make impressive gains just by upgrading the engine software and the N63 motor is no different.

The results of Dinan’s tuning are nothing short of breathtaking, with the added boost and related re-calibration producing a maximum output of 495 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 573 lb-ft torque at 3500 rpm.

The Dinan Performance Engine Software safely increases turbo-boost pressure from the stock 9.8 to 14.0 psi, along with properly retuned fuel mixtures, ignition timing and full map rescaling. In fact, over 2000 lines of code have been addressed, producing substantial increases in power output while maintaining the civility and reliability expected of a Dinan performance product.

With Dinan’s software, your 550i will be capable of achieving its natural top speed as the governor has been removed. And as always, Dinan matches the new car warranty coverage for up to 4 years or 50,000 miles, including the possibility of consequential damages. No one offers better performance or backs it up with such comprehensive warranty coverage.

$2999

------

I wonder if she would notice : ):)

I might get the Dinan Stage 1 tune after the warranty is up just for kicks.
