Rolex Box

Good evening everyone. I was wondering if you know how it is decided which box your new Rolex receives, ie...does the AD decide based on what he/she has.

For example, my brother and I both bought the same watch at approximately the same time but at different ADs. The boxes were different.

thanks for your input. Tom

I assume that the new watches are shipped in plastic protective containers and the AD places them in the presentation box.

I believe the box and the watch are separate and the AD does the whole packaging (i.e. box, card, booklets) for you. So therefore, they got mixed up and gave you two different boxes.

This question would be good for Chris (THE GMT Master)

What model watch did you buy, and what does the box look like ?

Typicaly the SS watches go in the small box..

The TT watches go in the medium box.

The Gold watches go in the large box..

The Dealer or the Franchise area Distributor mates the watches, accesories, and booklets with the boxes, so there is a lot of variation in the process..
