Mine was a gift from my sweet wife, the love of my life. It would please me to wear it for that reason alone, even if it were an inexpensive quartz watch.

Lucky for me, it's a ROLEX!

For the same reason as when I bought my 5513 in 1972. It's unique and understated.
And this is even more so in today's world of excess.

Good Grief! What kind of a question is this? Some psychological questionnaire for a security clearance? Does it take some sort of a...a...uhhhh....how does one say...a....problem....to want wear to one? Heck! If its a Rolex, its a darned nice watch to wear, regardless of the model! Its stylish! And it usually tells the right time! Duh!

So, in answer....what am I (we) wearing one for? Well....,...... so.....say.....about $2,500-$10,000K average on any given day!

How about you?
