Remind me of a cruise trip to Alaska in 2009. I was checking with the AD if there is any discount for Rolex. The shop owner shouted "Are you nuts" . This give me a very bad impression of an AD.

I was showing someone around the base I'm on here and we went into the DFAC. I grabbed a cup to get some of the mixed nuts they had out, and the person I was with asked "Do they always serve nuts here"? I said "They better, I don't have any other place to eat".
Great pics!

To some people, a watch is strictly for telling time. Their jaws drop open when they hear about the priceof a DSSD ... similarly, my jaw drops open when I find out someone spent $7,000 on a handbag ..... but they see the handbag the sameway as we see our Rolex purchase---each justifies their purchase with a bunch of mumbo jumbo that makes sense only to them and helps them justify the $$ they spent.

You lured me in with the title....great pics though! And yes, the logical part of my brain says we're all nuts for loving this hobby, but at least we're in good company!
