Warm water and some mild soap is best, using a soft toothbrush on the bracelet.

A soft brush and warm, soapy water is what is suggested by Rolex. Also, after swimming or diving, rinse the watch in fresh water.

It doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.

It's probably not a bad idea to have your jeweler ultrasonically clean your bracelet about once a year, maybe less if you're consistent about cleaning with warm, soapy water.

Welcome to TRF - no harm. Understand you're new and here's a quick way to use the Tools to search for almost anything in the threads.

While you're in a branch like Rolex General Discussion, you'll see in the upper right-hand corner a menu item titled "Search this Forum" - click it and insert the word you'd like to research. In this case "Wash" returns over 11 pages of advice.

Again, no harm - hope this helps!

I like most use warm water, mild dish soap and a toothbrush approximately once per week. Some members have been using a cleaner by Veraet with great results.....so you do have choices!!!
The main thing is to keep the bracelet clean from dirt and grime so it cuts down on wear and tear.....

Shower with it, after making sure the crown is secure (screwed down).

Warm mild soapy water. A soft toothbrush. Then rinse.
Dry with a lint free microfibre cloth and it'll come up shiny shiny!!

I just open the window while at the car wash and extend my left arm out. Sparkly clean and it even gets a blow-dry.

X2 Works very well, I turn the bezel around whilst submerged as well and have never had any issues.

Make sure it's a new toothbrush. Toothpaste is abrasive.

Why don't you use our own Larry (Tools) patented Rolex Wash-a-Matic? Not only will it clean your watch, it'll wind it in about 3 nano-seconds!
