Advice on bracelet
I'm new to the forum and wondered if I could get some advice from some of the members. I have inherited a gold day-date with the president bracelet. The bracelet has some "stretch" in it, and I want to try to make it last as long as possible. Right now, the watch is slightly loose on my wrist. I would prefer it to be a little tighter but don't want it to stretch out more. To minimize the wear to the bracelet, is it better to wear it slightly loose or a little tight? Thanks for any help with this question.

Welcome! Wearing either to tight or loose can cause stretch--along with allowing it to get to dirty. I adjust mine to allow a finger between the underside and my wrist.

Too loose causes the bracelet to "hammer" as it bangs loosely with movement, whereas too tight simply pulls (stretches) it.. comfortably snug is the right answer.... |
