Daytona White SS vs LV

Thoughts? I had the black LN but too plain for me (EVERYONE had one - and fakes at that). LV you barely see round here.

Versatility? Etc. let the discussion and wrist shots commence!

You'd be surprised how many LV there are in the wild and "here".
Almost the same can be said for a white 116520.

I have a SS Daytona and love it. The blue TT sub is the only one I would buy personally, but I love the DSSD. That’s my $.02

The LV is my "everyday". I have yet to see one in the wild, and get a fair share of looks as well as "is that one of those green Subs?" comments. I don't get out much.

Wore a SS Daytona as my main watch for years. For the last few years the LV has been my main watch. I much prefer the LV. And as for seeing them in the wild, I do see LV's from time to time. Recently I have seen 3 LVc's in the wild, all on women. I see SS Dayton's all the time, much more than LV's.

If you live where everybody has a black Sub "and fakes at that", you need to rethink your circle of friends and associates..

What are your thoughts?

Might be helpful to get your perspective if you need help deciding.

I love the flare that the LV-C brings to such a conservative piece while still maintaining the integrity of what made the sub so iconic in the first place. Think about which piece would reflect your personality and you won't have to worry about what other people wear or what other people fake.

I've only seen 1 LV 50th and one LV ceramic in the wild. The old LV is the watch which fired my Rolex interest, the new LV leaves me cold. The Daytona is complicated for me. I've tried on a few, been offered new SS models at my AD, I like them but I don't like them enough to own one.

The best thing to do is buy what you like.

You get the LV and go to Starbucks, then people might think you're the one with the fake!
