How gaudy do you think...?
Ok. I'm not a big fan of a Rolex with big diamonds but I recently found one that caught my eye. Not that I could afford it, especially not even knowing the price, but what do you think of the DD2 218398 BR? It has a diamond bezel and dial. It's too much but at the same time still kind of classy. Just wondering your opinion. Or if I'm just loosing it.

I think you will find that most people here do not prefer diamonds on a man's watch.
To each his own, whatever makes one happy. |

I am of the mindset that men's watches should never have diamonds.
But ultimately, I agree with Trouble. It's all about what you like. |

I'm ok with diamonds on dial as markers, but not with diamonds on bezel.

Hey, if it smiles at you and if it tickles your fancy, why not? Personally, not a fan of diamonds myself but my wife is :p

At our place, if a watch has diamonds on it ....
.... you'll only find it on my wife's wrist!
But then again if you like them, that's all that matters isn't it? Kind regards Chris |

I like diamonds and don't think of them as being strictly feminine.

I don't mind and have diamond hour markers
On my dress DJ/DD, but wouldn't want them on prof model ones that's for sure. But yeah any more diamonds beyond that isn't for me But to each their own. I've always had compliments on my DD and no ones ever suggested it looks "too feminine" or looks like a ladies watch before. But who knows. Wouldn't bother me I suppose if they did say it, I'll still proudly wear it. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341166221.805766.jpg |

No diamonds for me neither ... But there is only one Rolex with diamonds that I would buy (if I have the cash and the class to wear it) would be the Platinum President Day-Date 118206 blue glacier dial 2 diamond baguettes and 8 diamond markers.
