Seth I knew you wouldn't last but two days!??

I don't think you'll ship out Monday. Pare to 3. It's a good number

One dressier. One casual. One special or flash piece.

See. Then you'll have ONE of each. Semantics. Hehehehe

Ha. I said it was hard, not that it wasn't going to happen. Trust me, they are all going. I concede that I'll probably buy something else in a relatively short time frame. But, for peace of mind, I think this is my correct move.

To me the sub and GMT look very similar. Yet, I just don't need a watch that will take me to the bottom of the ocean. The GMT will handle everything I can throw at it. And it covers the realm of the DJ2 as well.

It is one of everything. Dress, sport, casual.

I just went through something similar, found out less is more. In the process I was still able to keep my GMT IIC. Am traveling on business tonite and will be taking the 116710 as my one and only for the next 10 days or so. You couldn't have made a better choice.

Agreed Seth - the GMTIIc would now be my choice for my "one"
After having the YG version i see what the fuss is about - i like it better than the Sub, and the PCL are starting to grow on me. Go figure

Shipping out this morning. Literally had nightmares last night.

Borrowed my old mans breitling to get me thru until Thursday, when the GMT arrives. Actually took it off within a few minutes.

Currently no watch on my wrist. Yikes.

We can all debate the pros and cons of a watch, but people's individual tastes are the deciding factor. Empirically, the GMT IIc is the ultimate all rounder, but if it doesn't sing to you...well, that's your call!
