Panerai #141 42mm $4500
I've just bought myself a better 141 than the one I have (why, I'm not sure I can justify, hey it's my passion as well as hobby).
Hence my first one is for sale. Have a look at my posts here on the Panerai Forum and you'll see the posting history of this watch whilst with me. For me, the #141 represents everything I desire, want and need in a watch, hence my quest to buy the best has been successful. I know I'll probably regret saying this, but I'll also be selling my #210, the #141 is the one for me. As a mature, read old, owner, it's time to admit one wrist watch is all I can use. It's in excellent condition with signs of wear and will be provided on its original black croc strap with deployant. The original strap and deployant are in excellent condition, the watch being worn mostly on a strap. As far as I know I'm the third owner. Will not be supplied with the ABP strap shown on the watch. There are NO PAPERS or CERTIFICATES, hence the super low price. Of course it is genuine, look at the sapphire back showing the highly decorated Zenith sourced movement. Being a 10 year old watch I would recommend a service as there is no service history, however it is keeping excellent time. The PAM 141 was only made for 1 year, in an edition of 500. Zenith movements were then no longer available to Panerai. At 42mm it is also a smaller Radiomir than is available today and the thinnest Panerai, as far as I know. It does fit under a shirt cuff and is unique in the Radiomir range. It is the first Automatic Radiomir, so has earned a place in Panerai history. The detailed decorations of the movement are right down to the bottom layer, a feature of the quality and attention to detail that was only found on the earlier PAMs. If you wonder why the hands appear silver or black, well they're actually silver, but often the black shows because of the raised rehaut of the dial. Another feature which seemed only to be used on early Panerai's with either Zenith or JLC movements. Any spics and specks you see are courtesy of me, dust and lint! While it is 42mm and not a BIG one, it has plenty of wrist presence and I have a 7.25" wrist. It also wears as a lighter watch. Please contact me via email jackafrica at gmail dot com or via the PM system here. The watch and I are located in Australia, no worries sending overseas. References from sellers and buyers here as well as TZ, 100% history over many years on the auction site. I will work with you on postage/shipping. $4500 via Paypal plus fees and shipping to your location. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Richard |

Offers and Low Ballers
While I'll look at sensible offers, I have priced this example to reflect all the conditions described in the initial post, it is 10 years old and has been worn, carefully.
Allow yourself $500 to send to Panerai Service at a time of your choosing, it is currently keeping excellent time and looks fabulous. However, it is by no means overpriced, being a true limited edition of 500 units produced for one year, with a superior noble house movement. I've only seen two offered in the USA in the past two years, I bought both. Please, no low balls, it isn't dignified or showing your best side. I'm not desperate for money, just had a kid, gotta pay bills or any other BS that is commonly used as leverage by buyers and sellers. Should you contact me saying " I'll take it, may we negotiate a little?", I'll work with you and you may well be surprised, pleasantly. It's a two way street. Cheers Richard |
