How to measure accuracy?
I want to measure the accuracy of my new DD. I understand that you sync it up with a known source, then check again in "X" amount of days and divide the difference by the amount of days. This will give you the +/- seconds per day... but what is the best source to sync up with? Can I use the clock (in Red) at the top of the Forum, the watch on the Rolex website
Thanks |

It's the accurate to within 1 billionth of a second, which should be enough for your test. |

Thanks for the heads-up on accurist.com. I've always used time.gov but the audible countdown of the time on the accurist site is really helpful!

I use a Junghans Mega radio-controlled alarm clock to check the daily deviation of my SS Cos.
BTW: WOW! That "Accurist" site is COOL! I can use that when I miss my Junghans to check the time at work! Thanks for sharing!

Just checked against the accurist sight. Since 01/11/07 Exp II is +9 seconds.
And I thought the pips on Radio 2 were accurate f |

Try this: go to the accurist site and make sure your sound is on. Then in another tab, open time.gov. Listen to the accurist pips while observing time.gov. Kind of cool in an anal retentive way!
