I'm not a fan of either...and not the SubC in general.
HOWEVER...I'd get the 116613! I just seem to prefer TT with the new case/bezel.

The hollow links on the 16613 would keep me from buying it. It's to bad you can't source the new bracelet because the blue dial is perfect. The new 116613 is very nice but the new shade of blue looks much nicer on the all white gold sub. That is why I went with the new tt black subc.

I bought the 16613 and love it. I'm sure the improvements to the 116613 would make me like it too. When I got mine appraised the AD told me that it was a desirable watch due to the color change. I do like the old better than the new, like most of you.

116613. I had them both, and the ceramic trumps the older style. I bet a buck if you go with the new style and wear it for a bit you will NOT look back, and you will constantly consider the ceramic if you go with the old style!!!!!!!

For me, the 16613. Besides liking the better blue, hollow CL's actually keep the price down!

five digits always beat six for me -
- they always seem to have a smaller case that fits my 6.8" wrist better, they strike me as classier and the price is lower - win/win/win.
The rule applies here - the blue on the older model is gorgeous; the newer model looks washed-out next to it. The bracelet upgrades aren't enough to change my mind. Finally, the cost savings get me halfway to my next watch... Of course, to each, his or her own. Try them both on; one will speak to you, unless you simply have to have both. In that case, get the older one, before its price starts to rise as a classic - you can get the new one later. |

For me, definitely the old blue. It has an iridescent look that I love. To be the new looks too flat.

I have coveted the 16613 for years and just bought a 2007 "z" TT Bluesy (engraved rehaut) and I absolutely love it. After purchasing I went to my local AD and compared it to the 116613. There's no comparison in my mind. The older version is a lot cleaner and the cobalt blue bezel just can't be matched. Again, my opinion... Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!

The old Blue looks nicer. But the new one wears larger on the wrist. I like a large watch.

Anyways, I would say go with the 16613, and if you find it to be a bit outdated then go ahead and get the 116613. The "old" blue is one of the most stunning blue dialed watch I have ever seen. |

I have to tell you, I am a true believer these days with the chunkier case and everything. I am also in love with the new bracelet/clasp. Can't say enough about the Glidelock.
I will always be a fan of just about every Rolex out there, but new stuff is legit. Go for the new one! |

For me I think the 16613 would be the choice. Now if you could put the glide lock clasp on it it would be perfect.

I think both blue's are really nice. Smurf blue vs Royal blue? It is actually a really tough decision. I'd go with the new blue. It's different and it has greater upgrades. Though the original blue is so comfortable on the wrist. Good luck man. I'd hate to be in your position, but its not a bad position lol.

For me the 16613 exudes style. The dial is iridescent and it absolutely looks stunning in the sun. The new model is close but is missing a certain je ne sais quoi. It just has soul, style and totally rocks. Whereas the new one does nothing for me, but to each their own.
Go for the one you love. If it has to grow on you, it's the wrong one. Cheers |

I like the dial of the 16613, but I prefer the 116613 overall package (case, ceramic, bracelet, clasp).
