Hello, I need some help. I am attaching the description of my watch which I received from ROLEX in New York.
Are there any "Cellinis" without the famous name on the face? Somebody said to me "it is o n l y a dress watch. This watch is like new, has the original case and the guarantee card sealed in plastic. What can you tell me about this watch? Thanks, Bellijoux Hello, the important picture did not go through, will try again. Bellijoux Wow, I did it - but it is really small, I gues I need some help. |

Looks like a Rolex Cellini ladies model, perhaps 1970s.

Thanks for your reply. Rolex can be so confusing. So, why do they have Cellini watches without the "Cellini" signature? Is there a reason? I am very new in this Forum, have been reading a lot but know really nothing about the intricacies of a Rolex watch.

Paul, the guarantee gives a purchasing date of 1967. It still puzzles me, why the Cellini name does not appear on the face.

Many of the Cellini line do not say that on the dial.. Perhaps the most common (and famous) of the Cellini line is the Prince. It too, does not have Cellini on the dial..

What kind of watch do I have
Thanks for your replies.
No, I am not overly concerned with this, I just wanted to know and learn something. Reading now for quite some time your discussions and saw how much knowledge and expertise you passed on, I finally dared to post my questions. Thanks. Bellijoux |
