Not knowing the economy in the UK and being a Pepsi owner myself, I wonder about the price. It seems kind of low and I know the repair costs from experience. Maybe the guy is desparate. Even so, at that price (which is around 1,000 USD) you could send it to RSC and, at the most, spend 1000-2000 USD to bring it up to spec depending on its condition. Total cost would then be as much as 4,000 GBP. Is that reasonable? You can ask for the serial number and check it for stolen or history.

Well, first I'm not a fan of purchasing luxury watches on ebay. I know others have had good luck but also some have had very bad experiences. I'd want to see a whole new set of pictures from all sides. Maybe it's lighting and angle but the 2 pictures between the lugs look like they're from 2 different watches. The first one with the serial # looks like a clean watch showing little wear especially around the lugs and bezel. The second one with the reference # looks like a watch with a lot of wear and definitely more markings around the lugs and bezel. It's unlikely that a watch would be like this however as I said this could be a lighting / angle of picture issue.

From pics it looks good.
I see nothing wrong in between the lugs. It is with and without flash. Looks kind of little rough. Pay attention to the case back. Very unusual to have a case back with so many tiny little dings. The case back is always the cleanest and most protected part of the watch but not this one. |
