You said watch not Rolex so here is my Seiko from my military days. It is scratched from one end to the other and as you can see it still has fair amount of FUNK. I need a close up to do it justice.

3 months. Nice job! Some people get so caught up in scratching their Rolex (I've had my moments) that they forget that they are to be used and enjoyed and not obsessed over. The polished center links are a nice thought but if you want to keep them that way you should either never wear your watch or take some pictures right out of the box to remember and lament days gone by.
