AP ROC or Zenith Daytona?
Hey all -
Long time lurker. This forum is great, I really enjoy it. Wondering which one you'd get and why? (OK, I know this is an AP forum, but thought I'd ask anyway) Thanks in advance! Dane |

Definitely an AP over any Daytona with the exception of a PN.

The ROC is by far superior in build and finishing than any Rolex.

Easily the ROC. I'm biased, though!

The Daytona is cool, but the AP ROC is more unique and less people have it.

Although the Zenith Daytona is the best of the 'recent' Daytonas the watch in general is just way too common. I'm also not as keen on the way the bracelet joins the case on the Zenith model with the first centre link being just a half link, to my eye it doesn't look as good as the later model in this respect although the dial is nicer. You asked this question on the AP forum don t do it at Rolex since you will have the same dilemma as before.
APROC more unique for sure ,to make a decesion we should know which feature of a watch is important to you.

AP -- it has the date! I know that shouldn't be a big thing, but that's why I gave up my Daytona!

Daytona Zenith has a cult following, but dull...
ROC is much more exciting and refined. |
