Hello All, any thought what will be released next month at basilworld. I'm hoping for some large sizes, nothing too crazy but it would be nice to see an increase.

To be honest, I'm hoping for the opposite. That's more because I have very unfortunate sized wrists - I'd love to see another 36mm in the lineup...

i understand your point, but lets face it they need to stay current, they need an increase. the gmt and subs should all be 42mm, that not a big watch at all.

I'd love to see the return of the sea-dweller in a size 42. I hate the cyclops, and the sub no-date is a smidge to small for a weekend,modest bling watch and the dssd is too ginormous on my wrist.

i'm looking at getting my first rlx, i have a panerai, oris and belrose, they are all 42-44mm, when i tried the gmtII i thought it just missed the mark with size, i tried the deap sea and i thought it was too bulky, so in between would be perfect. I have a feeling this year they will be introducing some new models. perhaps a new daytona racing watch as now they are the official time sponser of formula one.

Every time I see one of these threads I hope to open it and see somebody telling about new models, and I'm always disappointed with the "what do you think will happen" post....

Rolex doesn't release "new models" in the sense of revamping their line like some companies do...

They will release the next iteration of ceramic Daytonas and some new dial options and we may see the Skydweller and YM II in a different metal.. They will not likely change the DSSD or Subs at all..

this year there hasn't even been the usual rumors leaking anywhere..

I love it when the large watch crowd asks for a larger size this or that. Holding on by their fingernails. Sub 42mm is the standard for your rotating bezels and 40 and under for the rest.

They should make a sub with steel bezel so it's cheap to replace ,have lug holes to change out bands, make the dial simple and clean no date. Make the bracelet lighter and stronger with a simple clasp that doesn't break.

I think they'll have a couple of 42s.....like maybe the GMTs or maybe even th Daytonas. But what I'd really love to see and own is a Sub in 42, SS and in blue dial and bezel. That would be a great punctuation mark to a diver line collection.

I'd rather they add to the range with a revisited new model rather than tweak an existing model.

As I've posted in another post I would love to see a rebirth of something from the past.

This is a 'trend' that peaked at least 12 months ago ( maybe more) I'm not seeing Rolex or many other high end manufactures increasing case sizes any further.
