DJ 16234 Clasp?

I'm looking at an ebay listing for a 16234. The lug holes put it pre-1995 (I think that's when they removed the lug holes).

Might be a W serial (1994) based on writing inside the case back: http://i.imgur.com/RQQ1gRe.jpg

Most of it looks good IMO but I'm suspicious about the clasp, that's an area I'm not too familiar with.

The stamping looks too "fat" to me and the year might be off. From referring here:

it looks like the "C2" puts it around 1978 (unless I'm reading the code in the image wrong) and that clasp doesn't look 45 years old (...if it's original to the watch it shouldn't be).

Maybe clasp is 02 (1990).

I think it is c2. That should put it 2nd quater of 1994. Is that correct, I think so So many clasp are taken from one watch to use on another, you really have to know your stuff
