Rolex 16610LV - M serie - questions
Hi,
I am going to buy (or may be not) a rolex 16610LV - M serie without box and papers....nevertheless, the price is good. I have two concern - it has the rehaut with the number serie - but between the lugs at 6 it has also the number serie engraved - is it correct? in addition, i think i will have to go the RSC to service the watch - the date does not change properly around 0:00 +/- 5 minutes... I have testes it needs 6 hours to change the date...sometimes, it doesn't change - do you know what could be the problem? which issue? I enclose some pics from the movement - is everything correct? thank you for your help. M. |

Your Date Wheel Has Slipped Off The Jumper.
Send It To Bob Ridley @ Watchmakers International. He Fixed Mine When That Happened. |

thank you for your reply.
i am in poland so it will be difficult. nevertheless, what do you think about the movement? about the number serie on the rehaut and between lugs it is normal? i have read that since the rehaut is with the number serie, rolex stopped to engrave the number serie between the lugs. to be clear - the watch repair service can fix the issue with the date quickly? what is the problem? |

Everything is easily corrected on your Rolex.. If the date does not change instantly, then it is misaligned slightly and your watchmaker can fix it.. As to the serial number, for the first couple of years that the rehaut was engraved the serial could be found in both places.. Rolex eventually phased out a second serial between the lugs.. it is normal.

And will a bit of paper prove its real, fact the so called papers are the easiest to fake with today's technology. So never rely alone on boxes or the so called papers to authenticate any watch. And in general if you can see the LEC on the crystal with the naked eye that in general could indicate its a fake, but pictures and movement looks fine.

I never discuss prices paid for watches, but the watch will soon need a full service so budget for that in your final price if you decide to buy.

is for you a fake or not? based on mechanism pictures and watch pictures?
the code on clasp is also correct because it refers also to 2008 (august). |

I am a little knowledge for this case ,that i know the movement is ok 3135,a fake one cannot put 3135 in the case (ETA or use another with glue) but if it change some parts,I don't know.
personally,It also look good. Can you see emble rolex at 6 o'clock?(this emble make you confidence that real(difficult to seen it) because a fake one no this technology(some fake may seen clearly or never seen it )) If any my mistake, I am apologetic. |
