As you can probably tell those are actually side kicks from a escrima form he was doing in a demo. I do remember one time when he was sparring, facing his opponent, and he excecuted a roundhouse that ended up with Ethan kicking the kid in the back of the head. The kid landed on the ground in front of Ethan wondering WTF happened. His parents were stunned and naturally Ethan won the match. Everyone was friendly there but it did blow some minds. The kid needed to stop crowding.
Those were fun days. I miss the environment and the parents and of course the sensai. Good times.
