Ha! They completely discontinued it a couple of years ago. Dead, no longer available, gone.

So that's what's next, haha, nothing

They had 25% discount on them this summer to move them in by AD. They are dead

One of my favorites. Not so much the Supercase, polished lugs and PCL models, but the 16264 variety in WG.

Although on one new model, maybe a 116264 TT Rose Gold with Jubilee . . .

Have to agree Jim

In the engine turned bezel era the TOG looked better - just my 2¢.
Once it was redesigned with the fluted bezel I think it brought the classic DJ down a peg in luxury appeal.

I've always liked the look of the TOG. I really liked the older Thunderbird.

They need to resurrect the TOG with a 40mm case! That would be the ticket!

Yea it is a shame they were discontinued. I saw one a woman a Costco the other day with a WG/SS TOG on and I could see it from 100 feet away. An amazing eye catcher of a Rolex.

I would've bought one if it didn't have polished lugs.

I think the reason the TOG didn't sell well was the fluted bezel w/markings. It looks too much like a dressy DJ. IMO it just wouldn't look right with a suit. You really can't tell what rolex was going for either a sport or dress watch.

That's the beauty of it. It was many things. I don't consider any oyster-cased Rolex to be a dress watch though.

The proto-Submariner was a ToG

Well it worked for sport and dress if you asked me so that was the beauty of it.

Do you have more info about this model? It seems like the only difference is a green(?) seconds hand.
