So my Sub lost....
I usually glance at my 14060m's accuracy every couple of weeks. Well 100 days ago I set it and today it was exactly 80 seconds slow! Less than one second lost per day, happy camper here!

How do you wind up with such accurate timepieces? First your Doxa and now your sub? That's great. Mine, in comparison would be 700 seconds fast. Something I couldn't tolerate.

Haven't measured mine so closely, as it's off my wrist from time to time. Nice to know yours is so precise. Think I'll put mine to a little test!

That's what I did with my DOXA, left it in my locker each shift stem up and it remains extremely accurate to this day. I used to have a Seamaster that ran minus 8 seconds each and every day no matter what. Not sure of the model number but it was the "electric blue" dial version. Flipped it when I got my 2254.50, it never really sang to me.

Thats very good accuracy and checking for accuracy once every week or so is good. There is no need to check like some on forum every hour of the day and measure in half seconds how they do that god knows. And any watch any brand is only as good as what its been regulated too.

I just realised your sub is almost "twice" as "accurate" as my sub C, but that still means that my watch only loses roughly 1.5 seconds per day! (which I'm also very happy with )

Tim, I love it that you watches are nearly spot-on! With your past service, you deserve all the kudos life can offer you!

Nice. I never pay attention to stuff like that and I take that to mean it's not an issue for me either. Otherwise I'd be late all the time.

I keep an eye on it mainly to make sure that all is running righ inside there. My 2254.50 Seamaster has always run -2 seconds per day and about a year ago started running -8 seconds per day, tells me that it's time for a service. (gotta send it out one of these days...)

When my GMT2c is being worn it loses a fraction of a second a day and every couple of days I take it off at night, lay it face upwards and in the morning it is running a fraction of a second fast.
i have not had to reset it in over a month. |
