Morning all. I'd like to ask, can slightly rounded or polished case chamfers/bevels be resharpened or re-cut to their original appearance, and would RSC be willing or able to do it?

I would think its quite possible, although the quality of the result will be limited by how overpolished the lugs are to start with.

ABC does great work in that regard based on the pics that I've seen.

X3 abc does great work. The worst polish I've ever received on a sub was at the hands of RSC NY. HK could be totally different though.

Thanks. I guess I will entrust this to RSC Hong Kong. They've worked well in the past. Hope to have an interesting incoming in the next three weeks.

They will do it at normal routine service only then they will do there best to get case as original as possible. Its doubtful if they would just polish case only,and will further add the only time any scratches polishing need doing is at normal routine service only.

If you want the best result of all, bring it to Rolex Brussel (Belgium) or Köln (Germany).
Your watch deserves only the best is my advice.
In any case, never bring your watch to a RSC in the USA is what I read on the internet. Too many bad experiences.

Well like any tool its only as good as the operator that is using it,and today all the RSC world wide have exactly the same tooling. So in theory all servicing polishing etc should be the same, but put man into the equation that's the difference.But when you robotise results should be the same if the same program is used,now when you hear things like it must be a computer error,afraid computers do not make mistakes only the person using it.

I had a collectible sea dweller case send to Dalton in Los Angeles
It came back like new - very pleased - when I sold the watch I was able to recoop
my 500 plus shipping and a little more.
