Trusted AD in Los Angeles

Hey all,

So, looks like I will buy my first Rolex at an AD in Los Angeles when I'm back from Europe in August.

Any great recomendations are greatly appreciated. I'm in the market for a new SubC.

My family is in the Culver City area but I grew up in LA and can travel anywhere in the area.

Thanks!

Me too! I'm in Pasadena, and the Century City AD is full of greasy car salesmen!

See dseigh001's message above. While they may be trusted, I'd rather not deal with ones like that.

I trust that I'm buying a Chevy from a dealership, but I'd rather buy one from someone who isn't a douche and takes care of their customers? Capito!?!? ;)

In or around LA (OC or IE) plan on paying full price plus the outrageous CA sales tax (more in LA, you can save some pocket change by buying in OC which is slightly less). Do yourself a favor and PM DavidSW or Tony "Justrolexes" here on TRF to see what they can do for you on a NIB with your name on warranty card.

If you absolutely insist on paying full price I would recommend Brian at Traditional Jewelers Newport Beach. If you catch them with one in stock they may be able to knock off enough to cover the sales tax.

Well.. Rolex isn't a Chevy if and when compared to an auto manufacturer, but a premium brand. You go to the AD for the experience, not price - unless you've done a lot of business with a single AD in the past...

I don't know LA well enough, but from your previous post it sounds like you know the area well.

Perhaps, you should shop for your next Rolex from one of the trusted sellers from TRF.

Try Geary's Beverly Hills or Bhindi in Cerritos/Artesia.

For the record, Bhindi offered no discount, but we're very nice! let my try everything on, and offered 2 years above the standard warranty

Ha, I've been in the Mercedes/BMW/Jaguar dealerships in LA and trust me bud, some of their sales guys were just as sleazy. Semantics being what they are, I think my fear of getting a fake watch (remember, I'm a newbie! and most people I sent emails to said they never got their watch verified after receiving them) and the questions that arose, might have put off some of the sellers lol.

But all the offers and continued tutelage is much appreciated!

Binnie, at Ben Bridge in Thousand Oaks, has been good to me. No discounts for sports model Rolexes, but excellent customer service. She located a 39mm Explorer 1, Sub 14060M and a SS white dial Daytona for me. Very classy lady.

As a new buyer interested in one of the most popular Rolex models Ever - in the LA area - let the idea of discounts go...unless you buy from an independent dealer - as you can find on this site.

Hing Wa Lee at San Gabriel gives discounts and does not charge sales tax even if you pay with a credit card. They have a large selection as well!
